Renga (feat. Mey)

about

Renga (連歌, "linked verse") is a genre of Japanese collaborative poetry in which alternating stanzas (or "ku" (句)), of 5-7-5 and 7-7 mora (sound units, not to be confused with syllables) per line.
They are linked in succession by multiple poets. The first part, "Hokku" will become later "Haïku", short poem of three lines with 5-7-5 mora.

We choose this name due to time signature of the song, one part in 5/4, the second in 7/4, and the third in 5/4 again.
The idea of collaboration on poets was very interesting to connect with our own collaboration between handpans and violin.
